First I want to say what an awesome experience this was. Greg was more than gracious accomodating our time to come to the store. First, I was asked questions...what am I looking for, issues etc. He actually listened. Then he places markers on the beds for you to try. And leaves you to try. Occasionally checks in to see how it's going. Always patiently answering the questions I keep coming up with. No pressure to buy. Gives advice on mattresses regarding certain issues(ex back pain, sleep.hot, etc). I needed another mattress but had counted on going to at least 3 other of the big name places and then agonizing over which one to purchase. I had come across this place on line and am so glad I did. I walked out with a new mattress. Best experience I have had purchasing a mattress or any big ticket item. Thanks Greg! ~ Jackie C

I had a great experience shopping at this store. Greg asked about my needs and then directed me to several mattresses to try. I was able to lie down on the mattresses and take my time in order to find the right mattress for me. There was never any pressure to make a decision. Greg was there to help me find the one that was best for me. I really appreciated being able to actually lie down and test the mattresses because I have back and joint pain. How can you know which one feels the best when you order online? He had all the name brand mattresses that I had already researched online, so this store was perfect for buying a quality mattress that I knew felt good to me! We had the BEST experience yesterday, shopping for a new mattress for our teenager's bed. We were dreading the whole process, as the last couple times we've bought new mattresses we feel like it's an overwhelming experience, not knowing the pro's and con's between brands - not knowing where the firm-soft ones are, etc. And just feel like we overpay every time. Greg met with us at a convenient time that worked for us on a Saturday morning. He asked us a few questions that helped him narrow down the beds for us - then put little tags on the ones he thought we should try out - then left us alone to relax on each one. He was NOT pushy at all, NOT salesy at all, and I almost didn't want to leave! He and his staff were so friendly and easy going - and I knew I was guaranteed the best price around. I hate shopping for things, especially bigger ticket items but Greg made the mattress shopping experience stress free and no pressure! Edit (6/1) - The Nectar Premier mattress I purchased was unfortunately faulty and did not expand correctly. Currently working with Greg to rectify the situation! Edit (6/9) - Still waiting to receive a new mattress. Was unaware of the warranty process as well. I guess when purchasing from a store you have to do all warranty claims thru the store and not with Nectar directly. Will update again once I am able to get my first nights sleep on the Nectar premier mattress. ~ Jared A

I absolutely recommend Greg and Factory Direct. My husband and I are finicky about mattresses and Greg helped us pick out the perfect mattress for us. He is very knowledgeable about the variety of mattresses he offers and since he helps you by appointment, you get his undivided attention the entire time you're there. Greg is super friendly and it's not a pushy salesman. You could tell he sincerely wanted to help us and not just make a sale. And let's talk prices! What a value for a quality mattress with an excellent warranty. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ We had such a great experience at this mattress store! Greg, the owner, was fantastic to work with. He took the time to understand our budget, wants, and needs, and even “marked” the mattresses that would be the best fit for us. They also have a great selection of mattresses to choose from, which made it easy to compare options without feeling overwhelmed. We ended up buying a Leesa Sapira Chill Hybrid mattress, but we loved the other options Greg thought we should try. Greg was attentive without being pushy, giving us the perfect amount of privacy while we browsed and talked things through. Communication was excellent from start to finish, and his personable, down-to-earth approach made the whole process comfortable and stress-free. My husband and I purchased mattresses (split king) from Greg a few weeks ago. Greg was very patient, HONEST and very helpful. The non sales push had my brain at ease. He was very easy to work with. We loved the personal appointment which allowed us to truly try each mattress without feeling rushed! The mattresses were delivered quicker than expected and have been great! Our sleep has drastically improved! The mattresses were a huge plus but even better plus was his customer service! Very genuine honest man and would recommend him to anyone in need! If you want a new mattress, this is the place to go. Greg and Mike are great to work with. They’re very informative without being high pressure. What makes the place unique is that their stock is mostly composed of highly ranked online mattresses that aren’t available in mattress stores. A mattress might look good online,, but I want to lie on it before buying. Here, you can do that. I wound up buying a Helix Midnight Luxe, but there were many other brands and models that I could have chosen. Also, they’ll match any price you see online. You can take the mattress with you or have it delivered to your front door. All in all, a good shopping experience. ~ Mark Z

I highly recommend going to Factory Direct when shopping for mattresses. They have many of the online brands in different styles available at the store, so that you can really try them all out before buying. Mike spent an entire afternoon walking me through all of them and was very knowledgable. They aren’t tied to selling any specific mattress brand there, so there was no pushing to any mattress brand or type over another and instead, Mike just really wanted to help me find the mattress that was the most comfortable to me. They also match and then discount off the online sales prices, so it’s also a better deal than if you bought direct online. They really offer a great service. ~ Kathy

My husband and I wanted to try out a Birch bed before purchasing it. The closest showroom was at Factory Direct Mattress Store in Overland Park, an almost 3 hour drive from our home. Greg was accommodating and agreed to meet with us during off hours. We tried the bed and both agreed it wasn’t a good fit for us. Based on our preferences, Greg directed us to several other options. He gave us space to explore and graciously answered questions. We were able to find a much better match and he honored the on-line discounted price. I had put off mattress shopping for a while, and started with the big box stores. Was not having much luck when I found Factory Direct Mattress, where you make an appointment to try out your mattress! It’s convenient, easy, clean and Greg was very knowledgeable and answered all my questions without pushing me into buying anything. He brought me up to date with all the latest mattress technology, (they almost all come in a box now!) , I bought our mattress that day and felt good about what we were getting and also supporting small business. Greg was extremely kind and patient with my girlfriend and I! He asked us for the level of softness/firmness we were looking for in a mattress and marked some of the mattresses he thought we'd like. Once we got it down to 2, he gave us more details and price information to help make our decision. All together, we spent about an hour and a half evaluating what we wanted to pick (it's a big decision!) but Greg gave us all the time in the world. My recent experience with Factory Direct Mattress Store was excellent. An appointment was made available when it worked best for me. The showroom was easy to find and clean and organized. Greg listened to my preferences for 2 different mattresses and led me to the best options where I could try out each mattress. Greg was very accommodating. He let us choose a time that worked for our schedule to come to look at mattresses. We had the whole show room to ourselves while we picked out the mattress that was best for us. We got such a great deal on our purchase that we ended up buying a mattress cover and three pillows and we were still under our budget. Great experience buying a mattress from Factory Direct! The customer service was spectacular- he was very knowledgeable about each mattress, gave us recommendations based on our likes and dislikes, and made the process very easy. Factory direct was the only mattress retailer that had all high end retailers, such as dream cloud, nectar, and more. We actually purchased a factory direct mattress however after trying them all. One really great selling point for us was that he was able to match all retailer’s Black Friday sale prices, and even threw in a free king size pillow. Definitely recommend!! ~ Cali A

I was feeling totally overwhelmed trying to research all the current bed options. We covered the traditional retail stores but wanted to explore what’s offered online as well. This is THE place to buy your next mattress. Mattress shopping really sucks and I wish we had gone here sooner. There’s a ton of different bed brands in this showroom, not just the few big names you try at the other stores. Prices are excellent. Mike was really great to work with. He really knows his mattresses! He was our 4th mattress store stop of the day and the one we made our purchase at. 10/10 would do this again at Factory Direct Mattress Store- Overland Park!! Making an appointment to look at mattresses seemed a bit much, but truly ended up saving the day. I was needing to buy a mattress for my college sophomore, Granddaughter. She is so busy we needed to take advantage of the time we had to find this mattress. We called Factory Direct for an appointment and Mike made room for us right away. He was professional, informative, and patient as Isabella took her time to find the right mattress. My wife and I are EXTREMELY happy with the service and the products at Factory Direct Mattress Store in Overland Park, KS!! We called Greg Doring from his Facebook entry in the market place and he agreed to meet me at his store after hours. (I really appreciate his willingness to meet with me!!)
